Executive Director: Michelle V. Woodson

Michelle Woodson is the Executive Director of Medical Care Coaching Advocacy, responsible for advancing the organization’s vision to empower individuals to use health-related information to advocate for themselves and others and to make informed decisions that lead to improved health outcomes. 

Ms. Woodson previously served within the Maryland Department of Health as a Program Manager for the Office of Health Care Quality and as a Lead Health Policy Analyst for the Medicaid program.  She also previously served in supervisory positions within hospitals and other health care institutions with a career span of more than 40 years. 

Experience as a health care regulator and as a hospital staff member prepared Michelle for her important role as a Caregiver Advocate for both parents and for other family members and friends for over 20 years.

Michelle holds a master’s degree in Health Administration and a Certificate in Leadership from the DHMH Leadership Institute.

In her spare time, she loves to listen to music, read impactful autobiographies and browse through the aisles of her local bookstore.

Program Director:

Jean Quickley

Jean Quickley serves as the Program Director for Medical Care Coaching Advocacy (MCCA), responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the MCCA Small-Group and Individual/Family Coaching sessions. She provides supervision and coordination to MCCA Lead Coaches, Volunteers, and Special Guest Coaches as they empower our valued Coaching Guests to become Informed Patients.

Jean is a Policy Specialist for the Office of Eligibility Services for the Department of Health, where she provides health policy expertise to health agencies as well as recipients of Medical Assistance services. As a Care Coordinator with the People Encouraging People program, Jean was a facilitator and trainer, providing direction and guidance in planning program content.

Her professional experiences are numerous within the health care industry with positions at the Department on Aging, League for People with Disabilities, and Healthcare for the Homeless, to name a few.  Her wealth of knowledge includes expertise in the areas of Medical Assistance, Community and Home-based Waiver Programs, Homeless Families, and areas affecting the health of women and children.

In her spare time, Jean loves to travel, listen to music, loves to read novels and has a passion for writing.

Administrative Director:

Kimberley L. Jackson

Kimberley Jackson serves as the Administrative Director for Medical Care Coaching Advocacy (MCCA), responsible for managing and coordinating all customer-service related areas associated with our valued Coaching Guests. She provides supervision to MCCA Lead Coaches and Volunteers as they provide an environment of excellence and compassion to the Medical Care Coaching Experience.

Kim also proudly serves as the Administrative Assistant with the Department of Public Works Baltimore Environmental Police for the City of Baltimore.

For most of her career, Kim has served in various settings as a customer service advocate, including many years of experience as a licensed Senior Cosmetologist/Entrepreneur, as a Customer Service Associate at Macy’s Department Store, and as a volunteer at a Baltimore City Public Charter school.

Having a heart for the concerns of people, Kim aspires to pursue a degree in Human Services or Social Service Advocacy. Her desire is to educate, empower, and impact those who may be facing social, economic, and health barriers.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys outdoor walks, dancing, visits with family and friends, listening to music, reading and dabbles in writing.
